Repent

Numbers 23:19 "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should
repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it
good?
1 Kings 8:47 yet when they come to themselves in the land where they were carried
captive, and repent, and make supplication to You in the land of those who took them
captive, saying, 'We have sinned and done wrong, we have committed wickedness';
2 Chronicles 6:37 yet when they come to themselves in the land where they were
carried captive, and repent, and make supplication to You in the land of their captivity,
saying, 'We have sinned, we have done wrong, and have committed wickedness';

Repentance

Dead Works

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let
us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works
and of faith toward God,
Hebrews 9:14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit
offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve
the living God?
James 2:17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
James 2:20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead
also.
